NIT Patna is emerging with good placements

I have applied for IIITDM Jabalpur but have not attended because NIT Patna has more placement than it. No, I don't get a quota for admission. Admission criteria are based on JEE mains rank. Counseling takes place online, students have to fill their choices of colleges and branches according to their ranking they got seats.

I have chosen computer science engineering because I'm passionate about coding and trending technologies. All the teachers are well qualified from IIT/NITs. They are very helpful not only in teaching but also in every problem. The course curriculum is old-fashioned but still improving. The course of computer science gives all practical skills that are necessary for making it industry-ready, which includes machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data.

Internship opportunities are given to 2nd and 3rd-year students. Very few companies give internships to students. Amazon, Adobe, Goldman Sachs visits and gives internships. Roles offered are SDE or developer.

Students in their final year are eligible for placements. Almost 100% of students get placed in the CS branch. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA with an average of 10-12 LPA. Top recruiters are Samsung, Paytm, deolite, adobe, etc. Many students also got an internship in companies like Amazon and Adobe. Core branches also get placement from big companies. After graduation, I want to develop something that can completely change the tech industry.

The fee structure is sem wise and the total fees is approx 8 lacks. No fee hikes. Many students who are not strong economically are given scholarships so that they can manage to pay the charges of the college.

All around the year college organize a lot of cultural fests and events, with a huge gathering and participation of students. Annual fest Corona & Melange is organized by the college. College provides all facilities like wi-fi, LAN, well-equipped labs. Classrooms are good and the library contains all types of books. Everything is present in college, but the size of the college is very small. Boys hostels are good and girls hostel is best. Mess food will not taste same as home but canteen is sufficient. All medical and sports facilities are present.
