Remarks

During the sixth trimester of the Programme, each participant is required to undertake a research project. the college emphasis on the trainning of the student on a practical ground too. A research problem of contemporary relevance (theoretical / action oriented) is identified by the participants in consultation with NIFM faculty and / or senior level officers of their respective Department / organization. However, the final decision on the project work is taken by NIFM. The timing and duration of the project work is 16 weeks as per the curriculum. NIFM faculty guides the participants in research, analysis, preparation and completion of the project. The participants are expected to remain in regular touch with their faculty guides for timely completion of the project work. The project work is required to be completed and submitted before completion of the programme.

A one week program on Internal Audit for officers of Indian Railways is inaugrated by Financial Commissioner Shri S. Mookerjee, IRAS at the National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM) Faridabad.The program aims at strengthening Internal Audit function through coverage of topics on the International Internal Audit standards and the Information Technology skills that are essential for conducting quality audits. This new initiative is in keeping with the vision that a strong Internal Audit can help Indian Railways achieving its organisational objective of greater efficiency and more effective utilisation of its resources.

Remarks:

The college is excellent. The college is only 11 year old. According to me it will take more time to enter elite college list. IIM Rohtak has NIRF ranking of 23, which is far better than older established colleges. This is a positive sign and I am sure college will grow in leaps and bounds in coming years.

Remarks:

First thing is that it's not just a college, it's a govt. University which affiliates many other colleges in the state, it provides more than 80 type of courses, it have a vast area campus of around 600 acres with many departments and around 3 auditoriums. It is one of the top most Universities of Haryana.

Remarks:

College is cleaned. Rooms are very airy it would be good if there was an AC. But it is o.k. Campus is cleaned and green. Canteen is so good. They use to make fresh food every day which is the best thing of them so there is no need to worry about stomach ache due to old food. Overall good college.

"The participants are required to do project work in the third term. The project work is equal to 2 papers i.e six credits. The project work is evaluated by (i) the Project Guide (ii) Project Evaluator and (iii) Project Presentation and/or vivavoce having 25%, 25% and 50% weightage respectively.The final grading of an individual is based on his/her performance in each paper and the project work.
