Entrance Preview

I took IIT JEE entrance exam, Couldn't score a satisfying score and hence opted this college.

College Events

Daksh is a technical fest that takes place over 3 days. Colosseum is the inter university sports fest of Sastra And Kuruksastra is the cultural event Most of the events are won by our college itself. The sports fest is attended by many reputed universities in the region and it is one of the biggest in south india.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Among all other universities, this is the cheapest you would get and the facilities are more than worth it. The tuition fee is 55000 rs per semester and the hostel fee is 10k per year. The fee structure is way less than other private universities and also lesser than some government universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is in tie-up with a centralised bank who provide about 60% loan of the fee, as far as i know.

Campus Life

Campus life is not as on par with other institution and the gender ratio is about 55:45. Good extracurricular activities take place and it is a good chance to know ppl around here. People of all economic are here and there is not much of any difference shown among people.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are quite manageable in most of the hostels. the food is not that great but it is quite ok. The mess fee is about 3 thousand rupees per month.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Admission

Through a counselling based on the marks scored in JEE mains. A weightage of 70% from the mains marks and the rest of it would be the 12th board marks.

Exploring SNSCT in my POV

Placement Experience:

For campus placements students of the 4th year or 7th semester are the eligible ones. Multiple companies like zoho,apple,TCS,CTS, accenture etc have come and multiple small companies too. But the intake for the big and reknown MNCs were low from abt 2-3 candidates only.the placement here is 100% but the companies may vary.My future goal is to go for a government official stream after I finish my masters abroad.
