Remarks

The admission process is of two methods. One is by TANCET marks and the other one ( Management quota) is by clearing GD and PI conducted by the college. The minimum criteria are getting 60% in graduation and valid CAT, MAT, and TANCET score for management quota. I joined through TANCET where attended counseling conducted by GCT, Coimbatore, and got a seat on 1st day. My Tancet score is 68.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is like in 1st year you would learn all management subjects and in 2nd year you should choose 2 specializations. I have chosen Marketing and Operations. Marketing is compulsory. I chose operations because I studied mechanical, so I would relate that to operations management. The student-faculty ratio is 40:1. All faculties are IITs and IIMs and having around 20+ years of experience. The term exams are conducted monthly basis which is very tough. You should get a minimum of 60% to sit in the placement interview.

Internships Opportunities

3

The placement cell also provides internships for Major projects in the 4th semester. TVS Capital, Aorta digital services, Swiggy, TCS are some companies that offered internships with a max of 10000 stipends.

Placement Experience

3

From the end of the 3rd semester, the placement starts and you should get Min 60+ in cycle tests to become eligible for the interview. Totally 100+ companies came and 95% got placed. The highest package is 7.5 LPA by a federal bank for a Marketing role. Mostly, marketing and sales companies visited the campus and 80% got placed in that domain. I joined ICICI bank after my MBA as a relationship manager.

Fees and Financial Aid

You would get a sports scholarship. There is no financial assistance and you should visit the banks for an education loan The fees structure is 450000 for 2 years and 2000-3000 for semester fees. The hostel is compulsory. I got placed in City Union Bank at a CTC of 475000/-.

Campus Life

5

The fest name Daksha is conducted every year in Sep-oct month. You can get all books related to MBA and other areas too. Moreover, there are more than 50000+ books in the college libraries and journals too. The amenities in the classroom are a projector, furnished bench, and AC on construction. The indoor and outdoor sports such as Chess, Carrom, badminton, basketball, and cricket are there. You will have a cricket ground on the campus like Chepauk, Chennai.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel is good and not bad. There are 2 types of rooms. One is with AC and toilet attached and the other is without AC and common toilet. The hostel is compulsory. The meals provided are not bad. The registration process is very easy and simple and 90000 for 1 year. No PG room/ rental as the course is a Residential course where you should stay in college.

Interview Experience

4

I haven't gone through GDPI rounds, but I asked my friends about the process. The GD topics were daily current affairs and interviews related to general questions of what made you get interested in doing an MBA.
