Deshmanth Reddy's Review On JNTUH College Of Engineering Jagtial - [JNTUHCEJ], Karimnagar

I took EAMCET exam for getting into this college. I took the Computer Science course as i was interested in coding and computer related stuff.

The course structure goes from teaching basics to advanced concepts throughout the span of Four Years. The course is well designed to adapt a student to the technology world. At the time of study I had old curriculum but for the later batches the curriculum was revised to suit for the modern day.

I don't think that the college provides an internship but should opt for outside companies for internship.

Not many companies came to the college as it was very far from the city. But Placement officer tried hard to get the companies. The students here learn practically and are full of talent. Being in JNTUH constitute college you have an opportunity to attend placement in JNTUH provided if the placement officer of JNTUH permits. Overall students can try for off campus placements.

We hold technical events every second semester showcasing the technical stuff and everyone is free to participate in them. We have annual days and celebrate every festival which is a feast to our eyes. The events includes various participation's of students and their exposure to other various non-curriculum activities.

Being Government college the fee is very feasible when compared to other colleges. For every semester we have to pay 12500 wherein 10k for actual fees and 2500 for college development fees. The hostel fees is also feasible which depends on the contract but is basically between 50 to 60 rs per day.

I do not have good knowledge on availing scholarship but yes scholarship is provided by the college.

The campus life is awesome and the gender ratio is almost 1:1.Not most people come from outside states. Extra curricular activities are thoroughly encouraged in the college and we have sports events every year. The labs here are good for learning new things practically.

The Hostel we lived in was having sharing rooms and up to 5 members per room. The rent was 250 per month.It was very comfortable to live within the hostel.Being in a place which is away from city the hostels were very peaceful.

The Exams we faced were mid exams and final semester exams. The exams were not frequent but we had to prepare a lot as the syllabus was not finished due to hectic syllabus. But if a student can manage to study for at least 2 hours daily the exams are not going to be hectic.

After my certificate verification I had entered my options for colleges and got selected for JNTUH CEJ for the rank 7605. Later I had to confirm my seat in the college for respective branch.The whole admission process took a day and felt very comfortable as volunteers were very active in helping out.

I am proud to say that almost the entire faculty of my field were doctorates with specialisations in the fields that are currently are in demand.The faculty is excellent and are free to approach. A student is free to do his study and can learn new things from the faculty.
