Remarks

PSG is one of the reputed colleges in Tamil Nadu. And criteria is any group in 12th for my BCOM course Admission was very easy. Admission is based on marks. But in self finance, the admission process is bit easier than aided programmes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because this is only available in PSG college. Faculties are well qualified and most of the professors hold PHD. The exams were on time, conduct in 2 semesters per year. It is easy to pass the exams in bcom. Faculties are friendly to students. Easy to approach. And qualified tutors in PSG makes PSG a great college to study.

Placement Experience

From second semester companies hore people. Many companies like cognizant, tcs, and other big companies come to our college. The highest salary package was 6lakhs per annum and the lowest is 2 lakhs. Those who have high percentage marks are getting placements. After my UG I planned to do PG.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship for SC and ST students. The fees is about 57thousand per year for b.com courses. Many scholarships are available for low income people. The aided fees are less compared to self-finance courses. Overall I would give 4/5 for this college. And many companies come to hire people for job. Stipend is there for those who do research.

Campus Life

Every year annual fest is conducted. Seperately for aided and unaided students. There is a huge library with many wings. The classrooms are neat and tidy. Sports events are conducted every year. Many groups are there upsc coaching groups etc.

Hostel Facilities

2 hostels for boys and 9 hostels for girls. The room is cheap when compared to the college. The food is good in the hostel. Hostel for boys is very limited. So everyone cannot get a hostel. I was staying in a hostel run privately.

An personal view of myself of my college

The psg college of arts and science is a prestigious college in tamilnadu and every student has a dream of studying in our college because the merit system makes it more likable for students as there are two types of applications one is aided and another one is self finance the aided structure made me to chose this college over other colleges . The application has to be applied on the psg college website and once you are eligible for counseling the will ask you to attend it and if you are eligible for the seat you will get seat . I applied in Sri Krishna College of arts and science for BBA logistics and after hearing the fee structure i chose my mind only to join in psg college.
