Sanjay Ghodawat Institute of Engineering is also awarded, ranked amongst the top and also affliated with shivaji university. I may be raving, but i am proud to be an SGI alumni.

I didn't took any entrance exam.

Campus Life

The name itself is so big that no review will ever suffice. Infrastructure wise it is one of the best institutes. Having an artificial lake on campus, a music academy, large playground andmodern hostel facilities sepaks for itself. The college may be new but the legacy of SG group runs withing its veins. You guys have to check it the campus lake canteen music academy, classrooms everything plus the ranking in maharashtra is excellent.

Faculty

Faculty is well educated and they focus more on paper less education. I am still styudying at SGI and approching my last year. Already miss my college. In the end, all i would say is just visit the college and be mesmerized.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
