MY COLLEGE MY VISION

I Choose my college through Anna University Counselling. I got a scholarship for my first graduate scheme. with the help of that scheme, I get a 50% reduction in my tuition fees. minimum marks in 12th are 65%. counselling made in anna university only. currently, it's processed in an online mode. In counselling, we need to provide the suggestion of our colleges. they check and confirm the seats and course availability of that colleges. I choose ece it's available in KIT so I took that college.

I did choose the course because I decided to do a BE degree. There is no specific reason for course selection. My motive is only to join BE. In my college faculty student ratio was good. Then coming to the qualification of the faculty is quite good. same college students become faculty of my college.PhD persuing faculties are more in numbers. Their teaching method was good but some of the staff only to teach for marks not for knowledge

there was no internship with stipend companies are available in my college. students only tried their own and gone for internships. faculties help for that process. but no concern on the placement side. in my batch, only three students are joined in the internship with the stipend company. most of the students including me only gone for the paid internship. I went internship in chennai. It was quite good.

in the 6th semester, students are eligible for the placements. and also all clear students are only allowed for reputed company placements. if students have arriiers they are only allowed to the bpo companies. placement companies are Infosys, IDBI federal insurance, Hinduja global, face educational institute, future generali insurance, Kotak Mahindra,justdial, Wipro, byjus. The average package is CTC 250000. 75% are placed in a company but 50% only continue in the same company. I selected through off campus in an international bank.

My tuition fees were collected according to the government norms only.it was 40000. but I m the first graduate in my family.so I submit the documents regarding that. then I got a 50% reduction in my tuition fees. I am eligible for a BC scholarship also so I applied and got that scholarship in every year hostel fees was not quite good. because it's increased every year. in the 3rd year they asking for an extra 6000 for price rising.

In my institute, there were no such fests are conducted. but in the 4th year, students only conduct the symposium. every department conducts that tech symposium. in my department symposium named GOSOLO. but in the hostel every semester they conduct a food fest. library available in my institute.it was good. we also have access to use KALASALINGAM UNIVERSITIES library. sports activity is very low on my campus. faculties are not allowed us to practice. only allowed to tech related activities.

hostel experience overall good. we can choose our roommates. and the fees vary for several students in the room. we are 4 members in one room. space is also good in rooms. food quality was good but special dishes provide only limited quality. in registration we need to fill the hostel form and pay the fees then only they are allowed inside the hostel. hostel fees increased every year. extra fees were also paid. and the good thing is we also got refunds from the hostel fees which is remaining. we have received a lot of facilities in the hostel.
