I have passed MHT-CET for appearing for engineering. Due to most professional stream of career I had choosed computer for engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course structure is very good according to syllabus, but according to my experience in IT field, course structures, subjects should be get changed. There should be more options for going to particular branches like web, mobile apps, UI, UX, etc. And need it from second year of course, so candidate will more focused and industry ready.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college not provided any internships, but yes in every college there should be this process, so students grabs more industrial knowledges.

Placement Experience

There were lot of MNC has appeared for campus recruitment like SAABA, SAMA, ACCENTURE, PERSISTANT, CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT, ZENSAR, ETC. packages offered was range from 2.0 Lacs to 5.0 Lacs per annum. But for placement you should need very good relations with Training and Placement officers.

Exam Structure

Exams were very scary, but yes they are fruitful for career, Labs are hectic as most of the practicals were not interested ones. As previously mentioned if practicals scheduled according to students interest then it will be very good for students career.

Faculty

For first 2 years for most of the colleges have good faculties(with good knowledge), but after second year faculties provided were not too good in their fields, lot of the faculties are just ME passed out. For project in last year their should be very good and industrial experienced faculties will be needed, otherwise candidate come out from college with zero percentage of industry ready.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
