Remarks

I was selected for three colleges based on my GATE Score. First one in IIT Bhubaneshwar for Thermal Engineering, Second one in IIT Hyderabad for Material science and Third one in IIT Madras for Ocean Technology. That time i didnt know anything about this course, but i was curious to study new things. And i was aware of reputation of IIT Madras and it is one of the best old IIT. so i went with college and i choose this course. But my decision was right now i am very happy with course and i want to make my career in the same field.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is very good course, i will recommend you all to take this course. It will explore you with th ocean. What activities there happen in the ocean. How to design the offshore platform both fixed as well as floating. You will learn many new things and you will love it.

Internships Opportunities

If you got this course at IIT Madras then dont worry about the internship. This course is sponsored by NIOT chennai, so you will get the fixed internship training program there. Also you have to do the Mtech final year project under NIOT itself.

Placement Experience

Placements were good for previous batches but this time due to pandemic companies dont have much vacancies so we faced issues in the placements. After completing course you can convert it into Phd also. In abroad there is lot of scope for this course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For 2019 batch placement was not good due to the pandemic. Most of the Companies didnt have much vacancies this time. The company which took 4 students from previous batch thay company had only one vacancy this time. This was the scenario. but for the previous batches placement was good. And you will get stipend from govt. for this course Rs 12400/- per month.

Campus Life

Campus of IIT Madras is very beautiful. It has trees everywhere in the campus. IIT Madras has the biggest library compare to other IITs, You can download any journal from e-library. You can roam in campus in the night too.

Admission

No to get into IIT Madras for Mtech course, you dont have to face written test, GD or interview. Selection will be completely based on your GATE Score.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Infrastructure is good staff are good teaching. It is quite easy to attach with the teacher. Staff suggest teaching with the slide and PPT they are not same as like in school which is they will like do was spoon feeding.

IITM BS DEGREE - a game changer in distant education

I choose this college over the another colleges because it is the best degree degree over the BTech from low level or tier three tier four colleges, I was having many options for T3 colleges BTech CSE, but I chose this because I think it's the best I apply to SRMS Bareilly University all the colleges I was confirmed, but I chose this college because it was providing me latest curriculum and data science is very new in this. The admission process for this degree is like if you will register in a term, you have to pay. Thousand rupee registration fee.
