The admission process are both online and offline. We can choose it according to our convenience. The admissions are based on CAT score. I attended an interview as part of the admission. I joined SU because the tuition fee at SU was very nominal when compared to other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBA at SU spans over 4 semesters. The courses in the first year include core courses. The course is research oriented. They focus on giving us a solid experience on the practical side of the subject. The faculties are all well qualified; they were also very supportive of us. Exams are conducted as internals and externals.
Placement Experience
Students with a descent academic record and attendance percentage are allowed to sit for placements starting semester 3. Byjus, IBM and HCL are some of the companies that visit our campus. 12 lakh was the highest package offer. The average package given was 4 lpa .
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for MBA is very nominal. It was 2 lakhs for the whole course. This is just the tuition fee, excluding the hostel and mess fee. The scholarships are merit based. Scholarships are availed based on the marks of the qualifying exam.
Campus Life
SU gives due importance to extra-curricular activities. There sports fest, tech fest and cultural fest conducted during the academic year. We have one central library and study room, and many departmental libraries. The infrastructure is good and well maintained.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are available, but there are only for limited students. The rooms are neat and well kept. Usually 3-4 students share a room. The mess facilities are available. There is also an additional cafeteria in the campus. Both provide descent food.
