Good aspects: World class research Facility, eminent professors, Brand, NIRF rank 9th, High research output. It is a junction where researcher from all over India meet and collaborate. Grants availability for research is also high. No bad aspects.

it was international standard. It is as good as any other top IITs. Exam are competitive. They follow schedules and asses students credibility at a international scale. You cant get a Ph.D. without understanding the system(your research area) from NIT Tiruchirappalli

Fee Structure And Facilities

MHRD has provided us excellent stipend. stipend was hiked at the same times fees was also hiked. Hostel fees and mess fees are now expensive than before. If the stipend of the Ph.D scholars revised it would motivate the researchers to pursue their Ph.D. better.

Excellent, NITTFEST FESTEMBER(Cultural). many other sports events. Pragyan (Technical FEST). World class availability of resources in case of library. I was part of ProfNITT. I participated in every event that was organised.

Atmosphere and affordability

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students will be eligible without any backlog. Axis bank, Deloitte, zuilka motors , Maruti Suzuki I got offer letter from 2 companies Axis Bank and zulika motors Axis Bank offered for 240000/- per annum and zulika motors offered 300000/- per annum. Then I tried outside also I got even better package 420000/- per annum at Avias india manufacturer of stainless Steel and kitchenware. So I went with Better package I went for 5 months then I resigned the job for the higher studies

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc .
