Remarks

The admission process was quite easy and simple. I came through the government quota with the help of my NATA score. The criteria for admission are that you should score a good score in NATA and a minimum of 75%in your 12th board marks, and your age should be 18. We have a nice infrastructure and all amenities required for architecture. We have secured hostel facilities. there are skilled architects to train us.

I chose this course because it suits me .there are skilled architects who guide us to complete architecture. The faculties have done their masters in ARCHITECTURE. The professors their experience takes the teaching to the next level.

Internships Opportunities

L&T, MURALI ARCHITECTS, DESIGN CELLare some of the architectural firms in Chennai and Banglore offered internships for our college with stipend. A lot of external design competitions are held here and we have won a lot of trophies.

Placement Experience

The students from the 5th year are eligible for attending internships. The percentage of the student should be above 80% to attend placements. I am planning to do my master's abroad. I am planning to start a firm.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are standard because I am from the counseling quota. The management fees are also standard. There are a lot of scholarships offered by colleges through a lot of influence. This college provides you lot of opportunities for internships with some referrals. A firm such as L&T, MURALI ARCHITECTS, DESIGN CELL, AARDE FOUNDATION is some famous architectural firms in Chennai and Bangalore who offers us internship.

Campus Life

There are lots of fests is been conducted in our college, and lot of extracurricular activities and we have lots of sports events happening between colleges. We have a vast library and also we have E-library.

Hostel Facilities

The faculties are given proper centralized AC rooms. The food quality is not too good. Their registration is simple and for more details go through the college website. The PG can be rented here and it is affordable.

The placements in our campus for B Tech students in definitely top 5 in this country. Salaries averagin at 20 lpa has been the standard for the past few years. The placements for architecture are a little glim, but I guess that's the case everywhere

Love for Architecture is the main reason I chose this course They prepare us very well for real world experience but they have no placements. They could improve real world applications of software in the course structure Exams are easy but Jury's are different.

Architecture amidst serene greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.
