CAT. Don't remember the exact score, but remember the exorbitant fee that we had to pay since I was from the general quota. I stay at Vikhroli and travelling to Dombivli was a big task. However, it was better than travelling to any other place in a crowded train.

Pretty average. Firstly there are no strict professors that look very professional and serious about their job. Their teaching is only limited to what needs to be covered and isn't focussed if the student actually wants to know and understand. Just getting things done according to syllabus without any innovation and research was observed.

There were a few companies that come for campus interviews, but not for our EXTC field. Most of them were for Chemical/Mechanical/Production branch.

During our time, they were as close to none. Don't know any of our colleague who got any placement through campus interviews. Probably, there weren't many companies that offered internship or jobs to students from EXTC branch. Also, may be, the overall student's merit wasn't good enough to attract any companies that would want to hire such students.

Firstly, the culture of this college wasn't that open and broad-minded like the colleges in Mumbai. Most of the activities were to ape what was being done at other colleges. The students who wanted to do something different, new and innovative wasn't appreciated. Management from the college side was nil and whatever was to done, was done by the students on their own.

Don't know of any one. Not that any of my college friends got or availed. Educational loans had to be taken personally from a bank and none of the arrangements were done by the college.

Campus life is really slow and boring. The students were not really eager to arrange for social gatherings or parties. Probably because the college was too far away from residential areas and getting to or out of college at odd hours wasn't convenient. So most students preferred to get out of college before 6 pm leaving no time for any plans of any cultural activities to be conducted.

There were no hostel facilities for male students. And I don't remember any female colleague to opt or get any hostel facility. The college is situated on the outskirts of Dombivli in a place that is not very nicely connected to the main city. Also, there were not many options around the college either, be it in terms of PG or rented apartments.

The exams and lab experiments were never an issue. In fact, students used to look forward to practicals, which for that matter, were not very frequently conducted. This speaks for the need of more infrastructure especially in the labs. Not that there weren't arrangements, but they were not enough to house many people at a time.

The general admission form was obtained on government's website. In the list of colleges to be opted, Jondhale college was written on top priority by me. Then had to wait for the lists issued, out of which my name came in the second list. The necessary documents and fee was to be paid within 4-7 days.

As I mentioned earlier, the focus was not really on how and what the students wanted to LEARN. Rather it was just how the syllabus was completed for a SEM. So there were only a handful of highly qualified and experienced teachers. The others were new join or passout students from the same college.
