Remarks

In my opinion my college is best in india I suggest all my colleagues to join a better life in technical aspect.

Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE in 2010 i had score 43. I have no more chance for B.tech. But i know about Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa Institute of Engineering and Technology, my friend's brother is passed out from this college and his review is good. So, i totally planned for this college and present i m happy.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is to good than other technical college because all faculty try to do best for us.In India in my knowledge our college fees is to good for poor to rich family. i totally planned for this college and present im happy in research about college fees amity fee is 250000/yr but my thinking my college education is best.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provide us intern in 3rd year but I cannot prefer our college intern so i have no more knowledge about stipend. I have no more knowledge about the companies name because I complete my intern in firm of my friends so i can't more interested in college intern si i have no more knowledge about that.

Placement Experience

Placement is to good than other colleges in punjab because tcs, congnizant,wipro all mnc companies are give us opportunities to express in global market. In my opinion my college do best and best in future for the placement and all student also support for that by good education by the college.

In our college tech fest is best in our college. When i was in 1st year our senior gives us freshers party I totally shocked from the best response from our senior. At 1st year i was 17 years old and I cannot enjoy college life. I'm from bihar so i enjoyed that life at 1 st time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is to good than others. My cousin sister studied in iimt college in gr noida and she pay 1 lack rupees every year and i think she has no more knowledge like me so my father is happy to think that my son is qualified his education in cheap and best college in india.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, in my college time i cannot receive any scholarships because I'm not belongs from punjab and i have no any requirement of loan for education.

Campus Life

In my opinion our college campus life is to good, and gender ratios is 6:4. In my college our director sir always create extra curricular activities for brilliant student of college. In my college sports like volleyball, cricket, indoor games is used for all students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities is not good because the system of the hostel is not look like us and so we cannot adjust comfortably in the hostel.mess facility is to good but not best in for food.after 1st year i drop the hostel and try to use pg so college will try to so best in hostel facility.

Yes,our senior is inspirational for us and always been a part of our future. They guide us and try to get a better opportunity in life. Our senior try do support all the juniors fir a better placement in global market

Exam Structure

Yes exam schedule is to good and always done on the time. when exam starts all schedule are to good not hepatic for us.we always feel good at the time of exam. And our practicals schedule is also good in other ways. Our labs complete on time for internal and external exam by examiner.In my college practical is take seriously for back.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Hostel mess food is not good at some time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
