Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

There are no companies like maruti suzuki, tcs ,wipro,deltax ,JSW ,L and T due bad ranking many companies don't come for several years but now the ranking has improved so companies like amazon microsoft mahendra will come. From 6th sem the students are eligible for campus placements .The companies coming here are Infosys,Wipro,tcs which recruits students in bulk.companies like zscaler recruits at good packages like 10 lpa .Syndigo,Maxar have gave the highest packages of the campus history to the students of 54lpa and 70 Lpa respectively (but they are off campus) . Around 60-70% students gets placed

Learning with Fun

Remarks:

Studies and placements can be better. Transport facilities is only available during day which creates lots of issues for students. We have to come timely in order to catch the bus otherwise its too difficult to came back hostel.
