I didn't get admission in any NITs or IITs due to my marks, found out this was the best one at this. So took admission there. The college is autonomous. For admission, one can directly go to college and get admission based on JEE marks, else can present in SVET Exam.

This course is for those who are keen to learn new things happening around. I chose Information Technology because I was into Computers from the start. This provides me knowledge as well as skills in the Field of technology which will further help in future to get good jobs.

No internship opportunities from college. We had to find our own. Students in final year need to do internship to pass out. Which needs to be searched and done by students only. College don't help in finding internship.

Placements aren't good. We do not get companies. Just few of then with lower packages. We were asked to go for off campus as there were very few companies here. Companies visited here are TCS, Jaro etc. Tech companies are just below 3.5lpa and we as B.Tech students were asked to do management jobs as they were offering a higher package.

When I was in college, the fee was 75000 per year, which included 10000 as development fee but no development was shown in 4 years. Apart from this, there is exam fee also, which isn't included in fee amount. No scholarship was provided to me, but one can avail scholarship on basis of gpa and reservation.

The college organises Annual fest named Spandan during feb-march which is 3 day fest that involves cultural as well as technical activities. The library is good with a lot of books and good reading space. Classrooms are just like the schools with old desks and fans. No air conditioning in the college, not even in computer labs. There are various official as well as non official clubs and groups for individual activities.
