BUSINESS or QUALITY EDUCATION

The facilities provided are quite good at the SRM campus. The admission process took place on 15 June, before that there is counselling as per the marks or ranks acquired in the online test. At the time of the admission, SRM ID card is issued. The bad aspect of college is they charge every small things. They don't give anything without fees, every facilities and every small things costs you on campus. They charge for exam fee, breakage fee and many other fees. During this pandemic time, they charged for heavy exam fee and without conducting the exams. It feels that everything is a part of business. A suggestion that don't come in influence of big buildings, campus scenes, hostel facilities and other things which will not be used by you during your college. Just check the level of education and fees structure before applying for such a college. Not anyone can afford such a huge heavy charges they take in regular intervals of semesters.

Course curriculum changes as per the feedbacks received by them. But the quality education is missing somewhere. It cant cope up with industrial knowledge required, therefore many students when come in contacts with industry peoples, they came to know that they are missing in some of basic industrial knowledge which is required by todays industries. I pursue mechanical engineering, because I was interested and desired to have a career in it. The qualification of faculties is up to PhD, and some are still doing there PhD from same college and teaching the students. Exams are strict but of simple nature. If you study, you can definitely pass.

Internships are not available from college. It is you who arranges for the internships with your source. College just provides you with the NOC for taking the internships. I have done 3 internships with my own source.

The students with no backlogs are allowed to sit for placements from 7th semester. The amazon and other such companies come with very good package ( 12.5 lakhs and more), but the no. of hires are ranging from 2 to 6. The average package is something nearby 300000 P.A. Percentage of students placed are quite good because the mass IT recruiters like Wipro, Infosys, cognizant hires a large no. of students, there is no branch restrictions. Students with any course under Science and Technology are allowed to take part in recruitment process. My plans are to go for a good core company or if it not goes as per such, will prepare for competition tests for defense and government's exams.

The fees structure charges for everything you get there on campus. Library charges, gym charges etc are taken by the college in the beginning of the course itself for the complete duration of the college. Cost to study is very high and not anyone can afford such a high hike in tuition fees and other charges. Loan is provided by banks for the complete duration of college. The job is not easy to get, they just show the no.'s of placed students. But the mechanical student also has to go with IT company, not much core companies comes for placement and the hiring from the campus is also very low by the core companies. If you are taken on industrial trip, a suitable charge is levied on you, nothing is done by college to provide quality education. They just see from where we can take the moneys from the students.

Aarush and Milan, Annual fest takes place. Library has much resources to study. In first year, AC's are provided in classrooms, after 1st year, you were shifted to a Non AC classrooms. Running track and indoor games such as table tennis, badminton court are available. Some technical clubs are present who work for racing go-kart competitions and other such competitions.

Rooms are good with Almira's in them. The meal quality and menu is quite good. The registration process for hostel rooms takes place for every academic year. The starting fees is something 1lakh10 thousand for the hostel rooms including the mess charges(for non-AC rooms with 3 or 4 sharing, whichever is available). The Ac rooms with mess charges costs up to 2 lakhs and with 2 or 1 sharing, it will cost nearby 3 lakhs.

Online test was there, which is entrance exam for college. It was basics of 11th and 12th standards. After the ranks are out, The counselling dates and call letters are provided. From counselling, the money plays the important role. Some courses have very much hike in tuition fee.
