Remarks

In my previous college I got mechanical branch in government college but my area of interest is in computer science so i want to grab the opportunity to learn new technologies and wanted to live in NCR region so i choose dr. K n modi institute of engineering and technology at that time college had 7th place in all UP engineering college so i came hear and admission process was very easy go to college admissions department they easily understand all the documents and admission process. Form here i completed my B.tech after this i selected in HCL technology i am working as a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer science because i love doing coding, College facilities are very knowledgeable and experienced and helpful. But i must say that AKTU focused in theory instead of doing practical so this was the major drawback from this curriculum

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes i have did a internship with a new startup company based in Noida college also provide good internship as well as they will give you easily NOC for your job you you get any job or internship. Mine a friend who did his internship in Google now he is ios developer had most decent salary structure

Placement Experience

College campus placement is good overall mid cap companies come in the college, somehow one or two big companies come and hire students and nearly 95% students got selected, some students got the highest package in college i remember one of my senior got 16lpa in ola this was the best motivation for the junior that they can also get the highest package

Fee Structure And Facilities

One of the very lowest fee in NCR region of that college and they have very large chains of education, so very well mannered college routine and if talk about scholarship up government offer scholarships.

Campus Life

College infrastructure is one of the very oldest iconic building in my college a well organized library full furnished classroom, most of students spend their time in canteen, college life memory is very memorable

Hostel Facilities

I hadn't lived in hostel, I prefer rental. Room that was very good idea so I most of my friends lived in hostel they told everything is good in the hostel food gym sports ground all the facilities were in good condition.

Hostel Fee: INR 86000 per year

Admission

Yes they asked for your introduction and all the documents and your percentage matter alot. Which you scored in your 12th and 10th behalf of this you will get your stream. And most of the college taken admission an Upsee examination based rank so up government conduct a examination for engineering students

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Poor management regarding any issue and problem

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

I liked the professor of college their teaching style and unique approaches

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

My views on my college.

For doing BTech the minimum eligibility is 12th class with the subjects of maths, physics, and chemistry. And you must have good marks in these main subjects. For getting admission you have to visit the college and here you will all the mandatory things like fees, forms, and all the dates. No reservation benefit is available in this college for any kind of child. I just want that the placements should be good after BTech....Read More
