Entrance Preview

I have given IIT JEE exam and unfortunately I could not clear the JEE MAINS exam. This college has regular classes and there is lot of effort done by the faculties and their system is very disciplined.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is under the Rajasthan Technical University. The university focuses on good learning and more practicality. The cumulative examination system is followed. This gives the students enough time to prepare and complete the course. There is semester system opted which helps the students to clear the examination later on.

Placement Experience

4

Since I'm new to college I have no idea about the figures of the placement packages. But what I have learned till now. There are mostly selections in the computer science engineering branch. There are a lot of opportunities in this field and followed by mechanical engineering branch it has the second maximum selections for placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible its not that much. Its just 77000 per annum. We also get to pay the amount in two installments that makes it easy and not much of a burden. There is also scholarship provided for students who are not doing financially good. That is almost as equal as to the annual fees. I would say that it is a medium or moderate fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm not aware of any such facilities provided by the college but the university provides scholarship for the students who's family is not financially doing good. This amount is almost equal to the annual fees that makes them study free for an year.

Hostel Facilities

4

I'm not an hostler I stay on rented flat with two other students and we share the rent, the food expenses and other common things we spend on. It don't feel much expensive. For a month it is about 5000-7000. And that is more than enough for expense of the month.

Exam Structure

There are 8 semesters in the 4 year degree. Each semester consists of two mid term exams that are the internal college exams along with two internal lab exams. Then there is final exam held at the end of semester. In order to appear in the final exams you need to have 75% attendance in the college and you must also pass the internal exams.

Admission

I got admission on my percentage basis and on my JEE MAINS score. I went to the college and they guided me with the best course and brach. The faculties over there showed me more about the studies and infrastructure, that how it is different from other institutes

Faculty

4

The faculties are mainly PG or PHD holders. They are very well verse with their subjects and their teaching methodology. They focus on making each individual student learn the subject. They are very well with their language and teaching. Most of the teachers are highly experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays, events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%
