Remarks
Previously, admissions were granted depending upon the PET exam but because of Covid, students can get admission through class 12 marks. Students have to fill the CGDTE form first which is the first process in admission and then fill the required fields i.e. class 12th marks, Course preference, College preferences. Usually, you can select upto 10 colleges based on your interest. Most probably within a week, you will get a message including which college has opened its gates for you along with your ID which you have to show when you visit the College's admin branch for Admission. The faculty is quite good!! The only thing missing is that the college doesn't have its hostel (and we know how cheap govt colleges hostels are) but good thing is that it is under construction.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was told that the CSE placements in this college are good as compared to others. So I opted for this college. Faculty mostly consists of Highly educated Professors. Our class has 61 students and to manage that many amounts of students at a time is not everyone's cup of tea. So some teachers are able to manage it while some are not.
Placement Experience
As I have been told, students become eligible for campus placements when they reach the 6th semester i.e. 3rd year of their engineering life. I will probably be applying for the GATE exam in order to do higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees don't get hiked that much as compared to private colleges (some pros of getting admission in Government College). And about the scholarship, a student can apply fo scholarship through National Scholarship Portal if you belong to ST,SC or OBC.
Campus Life
I haven't attended any offline classes so cannot tell you about the sports. But as I have been told by the seniors, I can assure you that the sports and extracurricular activities are average. The library is quite huge, so the unavailability of books won't be a problem. Some social clubs include Codechef ( for programming geeks) and LOK.
Other Applied Colleges
ITM University | BTech
Costly.
