Remarks

It is a polytechnic college under WBSCTE so for taking admission we have to get a good rank in JEXPO and through councelling i got this college. I dont have any quota but if any candidate have SC, ST, PWD quota they get first preference. The Main criteria is to hold minum 45% marks in 10th or 12th as per ypur last qualification and getting a good rank. I choose this college becuase this college is in my home town Malda. Over all the process is quite smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think this best in CIVIL Engineering department compared with other North Bengal polytechnic colleges. I am very happy because the faculties describe everything in very details. They are highly qualified and they arrange industrial visits and training so we have a handson experience. There is two semesters in a year.

Placement Experience

I want to highlight campus placement like Bridge and Building Construction Company Pvt Ltd, Simplex Projects Limited, Nu Calcutta Construction Company ABCI Infrastructures Pvt Ltd, Bridge & Roof are in there for placement drive and they offers 12000/month - 15000/month maximum for the position of DET (Diploma Engineer Trainee). 60% students get placed in our time. The criteria for participation is to hold 75% attendance and 8.0 CGPA minimum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

What to say about fees structure!!! It is very nominal on 1300/per month. Actually i manage my college fees just having two private tution. No extra hideen charges are there. Schoolarships and finacial assistance are available for most of the students as per criteria. They prived us campus placement.

Campus Life

Camous life is awasome, fully wifi campus but class rooms need more improvement. All books for semester are provided by the book bank and didgital library facility is alo there. All types of culutural events and programs organised by the Cultural Comitte and college authority.

Their is lots of positive sine like teacher Student relationship is very smooth, also senior and junior students, Eco friendly class rooms, big campus area, own play ground, labs etc. but also some negetive sine their is no sufficient teachers and staff, no proper cleaning etc.

Remarks:

Positive remarks - all things available in campuse like hostel ,playground, Xerox machines study materials are also available. Negative remarks is that you can't go to your home before end of your college time without permission.

Entrance Preview:

I passed jexpo exam in the year of 2012 after completing my higher secondary. This a nice collage because the circumstances are petty good and the teachers are very friendly with the students. Although being a private collage, they don't tell me any deposit money. Some of my friends study here. That's why i choose this collage.

In my case I was appeared in just but there for some reason the state government has selected the candidates on the basis of the merit so the expo exam is now not conducted and students are directly admission by their marks in the 10th examination. Malda polytechnic is best polytechnic college in West Bengal

The admission process is first of all you apply Jexpo entrance examination. And its qualification is 10 passes. And the percentage is required above 35%. And application fees are 500 rupees. Its registration starts from 03/05/2020 to 20/05/2020 and the exam start on 03/06/2020. And offline registration is available. This process is very nice. Average Placement with good learning for Mechanical students

After getting a JEXPO rank I applied for counseling and through counseling, I got to this college. I have chosen this college because it was near my hometown so I don't need to go to another place to study. I chose mechanical engineering in this college in counseling just because I love machines and mechanical testings of various materials. The only admission criteria are to hold a good rank in JEXPO and a minimum of 45% marks in class 10th or 12th exam.
