Parul University review

Admission procedure is totally based on JEE and boards marks but they are having some additional management seats at same fees so you can avail that also. Admission committee is very active, they will guide to whole campus and college tour apart from these they are very friendly and corporative.

I opted for mechanical engineering as I thought it was core branch and I had intrest in mechanic's. Faculty in parul University are good and well educated. They all belong to NIT or maybe IIT so they do have good knowledge about their domain. Class strength is huge which is a negative factor of that college. There are total 1100 students in whole parul vadodara campus only for mechanical branch. So try to avoid mechanical branch.

College has good connection with corporate sector. For CS/IT you will get ample of options there. For mechanical core you will get to see 4-5 companies and the package is very much low. For othere branches the placement is good.

Fees during my time was 70000 per year but they use to charge almost 1 lakh rupees in which they include various fees which I personally don't like. Fees is also increasing every year. Apart from these cost of study is high with below average placement in mechanical branch.

Life is wonderful in campus. As the campus is so huge, its 200+ acres campus. They time to time organises various events and every festival, so you will not get bored there. Every department organises there own events and fest in which they use to call celebrities.

Hostel is inside the campus and there are many hostel in different prices ranges. Hostel is quite comfortable and proper hygienic. If we talk about hostel mess, which needs to be improved. It is not at all eatable as they are changing huge amount and food is below average.
