I haven't availed any quota GEM candidates, this college is at a great location. There admission criteria is different for different exams, as for CAT 89%, XAT 83% and also they have there own entrance exam GAAT. After short listing on basis of cut off writing ability test is done and then the final step is the interview.
Course Curriculum Overview
Coming from a technical background, I was always intrested in taking up client facing roles and not be caged within technical domain. I choose PGDM as it includes practical examples which not only teaches you but also let you practice it. It is trimester course and we have 2 exams per trimester therefore we have approxx. 35 exams per year.
Internships Opportunities
last year campus was visited by many companies and a few of them are Flipkart, delloite, collegedunia, accenture, arcsium, gep and many more. and highest stipend was of 1.7L per month with PPO offered. Summer internship program higest package for the final placement was 25.6L and overall placement was around 98 percent. top recruiters of GIM is Accenture, aditya birla, areteans, arcesium, inframarket, hashdin and many more.
Placement Experience
From the first year itself in month of september people get SIPs and also the conversion rate is good 10 15% people PPOs. Placement also starts from early september, placements are 100% with around 60% people get 10 11 lpa. 60 to 70% people get paid intership which is also better than many colleges in the same pool.
Fees and Financial Aid
Cost for mba is rising since IIMs have skyrocketed their fees, GIM also marches on the same path but it is a no profit organization so what all is taken is spend on you only. There is also a scholarship program known as acheivers round where peple get 4l scholarship 2l per year, but there are certain qualifiers to get it in second year
Campus Life
There are 28 clubs and societies to choose from, GIM is almost a club in every domain so you could do what you like with your studies. GIM also have 24x7 library,gym and other 24 hrs facilities so you dnt have to change your prefrences. Campus is student driven so every society is controlled and run by students
Hostel Facilities
Food is a great lot better than many other institutes and 1000% better than my UG college. For the first year, you get a twin sharing room and for next year you get a single room, they only provide with bed Almira rest all u need to buy. The campus is 40 km far from the beach and a hostel is compulsory for all students
