I applied to MET AMDC for eMBA course. The criteria were to pass MH-CET, CMAT, XAT, CAT, ATMA, GMAT, MAT, MCT and Aptitude test, PI and an SOP video. The admission authorities were in touch throughout the process.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course not only focuses on the academic progression but also on the personality development of the students. The faculty are excellent and have a plethora of knowledge and experience. Some sessions are also conducted by professors working in industries who have industrial expertise. The exams are conducted on the institute's portal which is user friendly.
Internships Opportunities
I was an intern at Tradebulls Securities PVT LTD, I was a Finance intern. It was a training come sales profile. For stipend, the criteria were to complete, rs 6500 AMC of Demat account. The project was to analyse the Equity Stock of the Pharma industry as give suggestions. There were few other small tasks too.
Placement Experience
From the end of the 3rd semester the placements start, the placement committee at MET keeps in touch with the students throughout their course from a summer internship to final placement. For the summer internship for the finance domain mostly the insurance companies had come; companies like Aditya Birla sun life insurance, Care insurance, Reliance Nippon Life insurance, Etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for eMBA course is Rs 3,40,000/p.a, freeship facilities are also provided to the students where they have to fill a form and also submit the income statement. The institute has tie-ups with Saraswat and Axis banks to provide loans to the students.
Campus Life
The annual event of MET institute is 'MET Utsav' which unites the students from all departments to showcase their talents. They also organise discussions with the industry experts so that the students gain more knowledge.
