Remarks

I have applied only at DIT University, Dehradun. No, I haven't availed of any quota for the admission process. The minimum mark required for the admission process was 60 and the minimum age was 21. I filled the college admission form online, then I went for the counselling conducted by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

the course is acknowledging in itself and the faculty was very helpful. the total number of faculty in the department were 16 and the number of students was 145. maximum of the faculty members was PhD and had very practical teaching techniques. the term exams used to happen in an interval of 45 days and were of intermediate level.

Internships Opportunities

Not a lot number of companies offered internship programs to college students. only a couple of companies like Asian paints, Wipro and Infosys offered internship programs to the students with a stipend of rupees 12000 and 15000 to some of the students.

Placement Experience

Placements are conducted in the college itself, they also conduct pool campus placement programs for the students. students in their 3rd semester are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, offered jobs to students. 60 % of the students got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee for a year was rupees 56000 and I have had to pay the fee semester-wise. Students scoring more than 9 GPA have had the opportunity of availing a full tuition waiver as a scholarship. a lot of companies visited the campus for placements but I didn't sit in the interviews for the same.

Campus Life

life at DIT is just awesome as the weather is always at its peak here. the annual fest of dit is known as Youthopia and the tech fest is known as Mechaholics and was generally conducted in October every year. all types of books are easily available in the library. classrooms have projectors and are centralised AC.

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

Admission:

When you are selected through your CAT you need to pass through the GD and PI round. The topic of GD is related to current affairs and we were given 20 minutes. The PI round was for about 15 minutes and general questions were asked about my academics, my experience etc. I gave some mock interviews which helped me a lot for these rounds.

You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th. The thing which should be kept in mind, is that the scholarship is on the tution fee only.
