Remarks

So, my admission process was totally online and very smooth. The college office was good to us and we're extremely polite. I was a diploma student so I took admission directly in the second year. I had applied to other colleges too but due to the general category, I got this one in the online process. Here the admission criteria for chemical engineering is very low... You can get admission even if you have 55% on your diploma. During the admission process and guidance provided by the college office staff was very helpful and I got the admission in just 2 days after the display of the online allotment list and you were allowed to sit for the lecture from the first day itself.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose chemical engineering because I had done my diploma in chemical engineering too and chemical engineering has a huge scope in the future from oil and gas to pharmaceutical to paper and pulp to soaps and etc. We can work in many different types of industries. There are around 8-10 faculty members teaching from second year to final year students each batch of 70 students. We have 1 PhD teacher, 2 pursuing PhD staffs and rest all are M.Tech/M.E. qualified teachers. The teaching methods depend from teacher to teacher some use blackboards some use presentation and so on. The exams are always conducted on time and there was no delay even in Covid situation as for passing the exam everything depends on how you study.

Internships Opportunities

2

Well, the college doesn't provide any internship all it does is give you a letter from the training and placement department on your demand. We have to find an internship for ourselves and a letter will be provided by the college. So, in this aspect, the college is really lacking back.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well, the fees for general category students are around 1.10L per year for OBC 60K per year for ST/SC/NT etc. It is around 12-16K per year. There's nothing many noticable hikes in the fees. The college provides government based scholarships based on caste and economic background.

Campus Life

3.5

The Annual fest name is Odyssey and it is a fest of 2 days then there are various different days celebrated in the college namely traditional day, tie and saree day, Rose day, group alike day, etc. And various technical fest of each department is also different the annual sports is of 1-2 weeks where students enjoy a lot. The books in the library related to chemical engineering are abundant and you can find any reference book in our library the only thing is that you can only borrow 2 books at a time. The classroom has basic amenities like blackboards, whiteboards, and projectors, etc. Then there are various clubs and committees for various different functions.
