An entrance exam is conducted through out the country. I got admission in HIMT on the basis of my score in my entrance test. The admission procedure was online. I Secured a percentile of 93.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course consisted for two years. it had four semesters in total. THe curriculum provider a great variety of opportunities for the 21st century's management students in terms of industrial exposure, applied research projects, internships, professional development activities etc. All activities of the Department are student driven; be it disciplines, academics, cultural, sports, industry interaction, training and placements.
Internships Opportunities
In addition to the Summer Internship program, several organizations such as Market Insight, Prognosys, Standard Charted Bank & American Express, Sony India have tapped the HIMT talent. Unlike the Summer & Winter Internship, these "live projects" can be taken up by students at any point in time. Once again the benefits to both the organization, as well as to students is obvious.
Faculty
There is a blend of both practical as well as theoretical knowledge. At times the faculty is very strict and does not favor the student. It provides Personalized attention and customized goal trainings and Disciplined and structured academic environment enriching intellectual capital of students.
