My Experience about CDAC Noida

The Admission Process was pretty straightforward. After giving the IPU CET exams, we have to go through counseling. All we need to do is select the colleges we can get on a list based on the rank received in the IPU CET test. If you don't like the college you want to go to then wait for round 2 of counseling as there are many different rounds that happen in admission. In my personal experience don't go further than round 3 as with each round the seats in college fill up, so make the choice wisely. After choosing the desired colleges from the list, just submit your choices in order of priority of most desired college to less desired.

I chose this course because I like Computer Applications, and wanted to learn how they can be made and how they work behind the scene. The faculty in the college are really supportive and helpful to the students who wanted the help. The faculty is also quite highly qualified with decades of experience in their respective fields, so they can help and tell much valuable information that students may need in future ventures. Some faculties also have a very interesting take on giving lectures as well, they tell you the concepts by telling real-life scenarios rather than just textual information which makes learning them much easier. Exams and practical tests are always on time, the difficulty of the test is normal as much of the questions comes from within the syllabus.

The internship offered within the college includes web development, machine learning, software development which can be done in the summer for 3 months. Usually, the project is a team project, so it is done with a team size of 4. Technologies stacks that can be used are C++, Java, HTML5, Python, etc. The stipend is usually nothing because the main goal is work experience which students gets in terms of the certificate.

Placement opportunity is ample in college as well as college also provides internship opportunities. Companies like Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, and many more come to college annually to hire students in their last year. The average package offered by companies is around 3-4 LPA and the highest salary offered is around 10 LPA. Around 90% of students do get placed every year. After getting a degree, it is better to have a internship and applying for jobs at various companies while trying to get your skillset better according to market requirements, doing that will improve your chances to get good job.

Fees are reasonable but it does increase a bit every year, for a student with SC/ST quota there is an opportunity to claim the scholarship which can help with fees. Jobs opportunities are there as well many companies come to campus to hire students in their last year with stipend package ranging from 3-7 LPA.

Life at the campus is really fun and full of opportunities to learn and get better with social interactions. The library on the campus is rich with many books useful in many subjects and they also offer research papers that are submitted by senior students which tell about the different approaches to solving certain problems. Classrooms and labs have the facilities of air conditioning, modern PC, whiteboards, and projectors for a better learning environment. There are many extracurricular activities that happen on campus mainly, sports, arts, tech fest, dancing, singing, etc. You can participate in various activities and learn and compete with other students. There is also an annual fest named ANUGOONJ which is very popular in IPU, many big events happen in that fest which also includes the special appearance of musicians and celebrities from time to time.
