Remarks
I'm doing a B.sc in Medical Biotechnology from Galgotias University, I opted for this college in the first place for course majorly, there are a lot of colleges in Delhi NCR or UP where they teach the branches of biotechnology like microbiology and virology but I had the keen interest in studying biotechnology in my bachelors so after doing groundwork on as to which college would be best for me I picked up this college. The admission process was also hassle-free, everything was online and just to get entirely sure about my decision I did go to college to interact with the faculty beforehand.
Course Curriculum Overview
As most of the classes that I have attended are online, so what I have collected about my teachers so far is that each and everyone is extremely kind towards the students and they have tried their level best to make every student understand the concept they were teaching through online mode. As for the exams, they are way too often than I expected mainly because the semesters were quite short during this pandemic and the syllabus was exactly the same but I think from now semesters are going to be of appropriate time so students will get time to absorb the knowledge and get prepared or the exams.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides a great internship opportunity with a great stipend, I've heard about some students who were recruited for internships in reputed companies through college and later got permanent over there and many faculty members also help you to get into really good internships through their connections.
Placement Experience
The college has a good placement rate, almost all the students who are capable and deserving get placed. many reputed companies like American Express and Amazon visit our campus and recruit students with handsome packages also faculty is so supportive during the whole process.
Fees and Financial Aid
BSC Medical biotechnology at Galgotias University is quite affordable (Rs 60,000 per annum) but there are many other courses whose fees are more than 1lac per year and many students are likely to take loans to pay their dues.
Campus Life
The campus is very clean and well maintained and before covid college used to organize many fests and events to take part in and many prominent celebrities used to come and perform overall, it was fun before the pandemic.
