Entrance Preview

I gave CAT (80) and XAT (84). My score was pretty average. i opted for IFIM Bangalore because its faculty and placement really attracted me. The faculty of IFIM Bangalore is well experienced . The college has a brew of different students across country. As i live in Bihar, the college campus has a hostel facility too and made it easier for me to survive. I think this B school has a well structured mechanism be it location, hostels or management.

College Events

There are many educational and cultural events thta are held on a regular basis at IFIM. These fest promotes skills of different students. This allows students to take break from their regular routine and explore beyond books. IFIM conduct a national level fest named NAMAN every year which is completely student driven from getting sponsors to organizing events, inviting colleges and conducting cultural events too.

Hostel Facilities

I came to Bangalore with lots of expectations that IFIM Bangalore will be able to provide me with the best. I will rate the hostel facility 3.5 out of 5 . There is sharing of room on quad basis i.e each room is shared by four students. There is no regular pest control in the accommodations. Also, there is no air condition facility which is available except in the auditoriums, seminar rooms etc .I will rate the college mess 3 out of 5. The cook does not provide the students with hygienic food. At times the food is foul and rotten . the college mess sometimes provide with the stale roti . this causes poor health of students and hence they’ll not able to properly try to concentrate.

My brief experience as a MBA student at IZee Business School, Bangalore

Placement Experience:

From third semester itself students are eligible for campus placements. College itself provides internships for students also helping them to cop up with their studies. Companies visited are, Cafe Coffee Day, Cothas coffee, Infosys, Biocon, HCL tech. Highest package they provided is 14 Lakhs and average is 6.5 lakhs. 90% students get placed, 5% students have their own family business and other 5% students start their own business. My plan after getting my degree is to get into one of BIG FIVEs, earn money, build connections for atleast a decade and than start my own business.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the campus placements from around the 4th trimester (2nd year) onwards. The college placement cell is very efficient and super helpful in providing placement opportunities to the students and always aid them. Companies like Mahindra Finance, Vodafone, Airtel, Nykaa, Wipro, Bosch etc. The average package is around 8 LPA and the highest package offered so far has been 16 LPA. There is nearly 100% placement from the college.

A Solid Choice for Industry-Ready Graduates.

For two year PGDM programs, there are various eligibility criterias like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT and JAGMAT. JAGMAT ia a requirement at the time of selection process. The application form, fees and the dates are provided in the website. JAGMAT is an aptitude test which comprises of 3 sections- 1)English Language proficiency 2) Quantitative aptitude 3) Logical reasoning The total marks is 75 and each section will be of 25 marks. the duration of the test is 90 minutes.
