Entrance Preview
I took Karunya entrance exam, and chose this college because I had a poor cut off and no idea. The interview was very simple, i never prepared anything. So that's it. My journey to one among the million engineers started.
Internships Opportunities
They provide a good stipend for projects. I am not sure of the percentage of amount of stipend which they provide.
Placement Experience
There are a lot of job opportunities in our college. Kpmg, Tech mahindra, cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, TCS and many other IT companies and also core companies come for campus, there is a high chance of placement for all students who cleared their papers.
College Events
There are a lot of events which happen in our college, mixed events such as non technical and technical event take place. And they spend huge money for every event. The events are the best thing in the college life. You can enjoy every events. The classes won't take place few days prior to the events.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not sure of it. But they provide scholarships and loan facilities. They revised many changes in fees and provision after we passed out from the college.
Exam Structure
There is 3 internal exams, best of two will be considered and the average is taken for 50 marks. Then the final semester result will be converted for 50 marks and added to the internal average and the total sum is the final mark and is converted to grade.
Admission
I got the admission form from the college. Cleared it and the admissions were based on the ranking of the entrance. It was a single window counselling and there were three stages and they will guide you to each stages. But the accommodation is a must. There is no option for day scholars when I joined. But they have taken consideration for that option now I hope.
Faculty
The faculties are very helpful and they are available to solve students problems at all times. Not all but most of them are well experienced and have a good foundation of the basics. They are friendly and helpful. You have the option to choose your faculty for the subject.
