Entrance Preview

I didn't took any entrance examination, Actually i have interest in Computers and its technology so i choosed B.sc in computer science.

Internships Opportunities

As i know our college does not provide ant internship. But, there is job opportunities and placements from the college.

Placement Experience

Half of the college students will be placed in may companies. Coming to companies - Modal, Infosys, Concentrix, Wipro and so many companies will visit our campus. And coming to the package it depends on the company standards. I think it does not exced from 3 lakhs

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure depends of the course and subjects choosed by the students. If the subjects are aided then fee structure is feasible, if not it is expensive. Especially is student is taking BBM this course for 1 year fee is around 50000/- - 70000/-. Where as B.sc optional subject is chemistry fee will be around 14000/- and B.sc in Computers as optional subject then fee will be around 30000/-.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, there is no scholarship and there no loan facility also offered by the college and there is nothing from the college we can expect as scholarship.

Faculty

As i know of my professors are very good and punctual. They are highly educated and posses excellent knowledge in their subjects and they are well versed their subjects. They will be pre prepared for the class and explain us in easiest way so that we can u understand well.

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Peaceful College And Campus Life

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students get eligible for campus placement, No of companies such as Cipla, infosys,accenture, TCS, wipro, Icici bank have visited our college, provide placements and 90% students get placed in reputed companies. My plan after finishing my Bsc ,i will opting for MSc Biotechnology, then a PhD.I will become a professor.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

I had applied to st Joseph's college of Commerce in mysore. I did not get rejected from that college and the fees is same as it is in st philomena's that is 45000 per year including all other expenses. I did not go there as they did not provide acca with bcom they had only cma and ca along with bcom. The admission process in my college is quite simple and easy they guide with every step. Great college experience

I haven't applied to many colleges in Kerala or outside. My parents decided to choose this college considering its reputation as a good college. Compared to other colleges I believe this college is mostly suitable for a study-based environment, suitable for anyone looking for further studies.
