I got selected through CET marks. I did not have any hurdles while taking admission. All government rules and the standard procedure were followed to take admission in the college. Also, I was from outside Mumbai college Hostel facility was availed to me. I had a wonderful learning experience in college. I was college sports secretary in and got the opportunity to represent college and university in different tournaments. Also, academically standard Teaching and learning processes were followed. Placement assistance was provided.

Course Curriculum was synchronized with changing technology in the market. All the faculties were well qualified. Exams were timely and the results were announced timely. Thankfully i cleared all the exams. Exams were not difficult to pass if you consistently engage yourself in studies.

Opportunities for internships were not available at that time for my batch. however, successive batches were provided good internship opportunities, (even abroad also). for my batch, regular Mini Projects and Major Projects were asked to be complete. Our HOD even asked to write the Research Papers.

The placements were really good. Many of my friends got placed in Infosys, HSBC, Deloitte. We were asked to upskill ourselves. I was good in technical skills and after some days i got a job on the basis of my technical skills.

Fees hike was 10-15 % every year as far as I remember. At that time in 2012, I applied for an education loan to pay the college fees and also our HOD Sumit sir provided help for availing scholarship from BHU. I did not get a job on campus though.

UMITians were Celebrating each and every Tech Fest as well as the Cultural fest enthusiastically. Many times I was part of the volunteering team. I was not happy with the availability of books and journals at that time though. I hope Now library is bestowed with relevant books.

The hostel was just 300-400 meters from the sea beach. My Hostel experience was really happening. The meal quality was good, I still miss the food provided in the hostel. The registration process was easy and hassle-free. The Process was well synchronized.
