Adnan Farooqui's Review On Truba Institute Of Engineering And Information Technology - [TIEIT], Bhopal

IIT JEE, i have a keen interest in computers and i is my ambition to be a successful computer science engineer so i choose BE CS in TIEIT. I scored 85 in JEE mains. and 85% in CBSE boards.

The course is selected by RGPV and not by the college. Until last year it was a it too outdated but this year they have come up with the new CBCS scheme and have updated the course a bit. But the college teaches the updated stuff also to the students for knowledge purposes and so that the students don't suffer in long term because of the university's outdated syllabus.

I am a first year student and haven't even completed 3 months in the college so i don't know much about internships but recently one of my seniors got an internship in redhat linux.

There is a huge list of companies which come to truba for interviews. TCS has a tieup with truba and it is the first company to visit every year. Wipro, L&T, syntel, HTC, etc all the well known companies as well as some which are not too popular but are good also visit the campus.

There are really good scholarship schemes available for the non general category students. But i am a general category student so i am not aware of them and have not availed any.

Gender ratio is almost 50-50 but in my batch it would be 10-90 its just the case in my batch that there are less girls than boys. but the more number of girls in other years make it to be 50-50 in the end. Campus life is as good as it can be. If you are a sponsor person then truba should be your choice. they are hell a lot supportive in sports.

Labs are 4 times a week. Whereas the exams are not too much. there are just one midsems and the semester exams. There is not too much pressure of exams. But the labs you would be thinking. Labs are so well equipped that you can not say no to them. It helps in gaining good practical knowledge.
