Remarks
After diploma or +2 you can go through OJEE exams. After getting ranks you can apply for engineering colleges in Odisha. There's a quota available for students. I've applied for some other colleges but as it's near my home,, I joined this college for graduation. Admission day was just good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I've some interest in Mechanical Engineering so I choose this course. There're so many qualified teachers with great educational backgrounds. Teacher students ratio was nearly about 1:100. Some of the professors are highly educated by recognised organizations. The quality of the teaching method and process was quite up to the mark. In a semester (6 months) 2 internal exams and final exams were there. The difficulty level was near about 5/10.
Placement Experience
With the completion of the 6th semester, you're eligible for campus placement. Generally in the final year. Some good companies and also a few MNCs come for placement drive. Generally, 60-70% of students get placed every year from the rest 10-15 percentage people coming from higher studies and GATE continues their studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
There're some Odisha govt schemes like prerana scholarship. That helps students to pay their fees. And placement was also average. But before the outbreak of covid-19, it had good placement rates in Odisha.
Campus Life
There're so many groups/clubs in our colleges. Our college also provides funds to support them. Some technical clubs for innovation and research and development programs and also some clubs are there for extracurricular activities like dance, music bands, singing etc and also for some sports.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are having good infrastructure. Gym and playground are within it. Food quality was also too good. Hostels having parking lots and indoor games facilities. Hostels fees are not so high but maintenance charges were included with it.
