Entrance Preview

I took KCET and scored 102/180(pcm) and got 16455 rank . I opted to this college because I got KCET government quota SNQ seat and the history of this college looks good I heard that the college has good infrastructure and teaching faculties and good placement records .I chose CSE because I like and love CS very much.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course CSE is very good . now in 1st year we have all branch subjects such as electronics mechanical etc though we are from computer science. The curriculum gives importance for research and our college NBA acrredited which gives importance to the outcome bases quality education.

Internships Opportunities

Yes , our college does provide internships but unfortunately the internships starts from 3rd year so currently we do not any internships but we can independently do our internships. We do have HR training who are encouraging us to start now only but since we have much big syllabus in 1st year we have not started the internship yet.

Placement Experience

According to few sources of mine they say that the placements are nearly 100% to all eligible students.The maximum package in our college was nearly 10 lakhs per annum that was given by L & T. I think but we have infosys visiting us some time to take merit and intelligent students.

College Events

We have numerous number of events in our colleges. We have fest's from each and every departments we have in our college and we recently had inter college soft ball match in which sadly our college lost.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for CET merit students is very less nearly 25000 rs. But for students from management quota the fees is very expensive nearly equal to 170000 + hostel fees nearly equal to 90000 if the student wishes to stay in college hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not taken any loans if as I was an merit student and got government seats. But I do have applied to the scholarship but not to the college but to the government scholarship. But as I hear from 2nd year we have our own scholarship based on the marks scored by a student in the 1st year and onwards till last year.

Faculty

The faculties of our college is awesome they are highly educated and experienced though. We have some young faculties they teach such that we understand completely the concept and the standard are good and the faculties are very helping in clearing the doudts.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Nitte: My review on my college

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

Truth of Don Bosco institute of technology Bangalore

Definately i choosen the wrong college because I don't have options because I wrote Jee mains and I scored 89 percentile but I am from general category since I have no reservation the cut off missed by 1 percentile I was hoping that I will clear jee die to that I didn't concentrate on kcet due to that it came the worst result so I was getting only civil, mechanical by kcet that to same college Don Bosco Bangalore college then I applied for comed k in that I got ok ok result but there my bad luch in 1st round I got Swami Vivekananda College Puttur , in 2md doubt Don Bosco institute of technology so I hope that in 3rd round some how I will get upgrade but didn't get in COMEDK if u got ill 3rd round then the fees is not refunded so there is no option...Read More
