I had applied at this university itself since my elder sister was doing here. No, I didn't attend any quota for admission. Minimum marks for qualify was 50%, an entrance exam, and a personal interview based on which I got selected.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it has good faculty and staff, good practicals. The faculty is amazing and students are in a good number too. The faculty needs to be a PhD. Their teaching method is good where they make us do presentations which give us courage. Exams were very easy and almost all pass.
Internships Opportunities
The faculty makes complete arrangements for internships. They arrange the interviews for the students. Whichever company they arrange for you. Companies like Marriott offered me a stipend of 1500 rs while grand hyat offered me 1000 rs per month.
Placement Experience
From semesters 6 and 10 students are eligible for placements. Companies such as taj, oberoi etc, vist for placements offering jobs to many students. Highest package offered by taj was 6 lakh per annum which average was 3 lakhs per annum. Almost 79% students get placements. My plans after this degree is to start my very own hotel.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike up whenever u go to the next year sometimes. Scholarships are provided in 3 types for merit, income and sc, st etc. Campus jobs are provided by various hotels. Such as taj, Marriott, Fidelio, w, etc. Stipend for jobs are very less tho for internships. However, internships are arranged by the college itself.
Campus Life
There are many activities on campus like frolics, etc. Books are always provided to students by the library. Classrooms have Ac, projectors, TV, sound , fans. There are sports which are held for both girls and boys. We have our youtube and instagram page which is operated by students. Named HTT imba.
