My Experience at LNMI, Patna

The admission process of LNMI for MBA program include filling of application form first of all. Therefore, I did the same and filled the form after it released. While filling the form, o provided my MAT score and other required details. Further, I waited for my name to get shortlisted. Later on, when I got shortlisted, I was called for Personal Interview round and lastly, I received with admission offer letter. Further, the reasons why I opted for MBA program and that too from this college is its accreditation, fees, and placement basically as it is affiliated to AKU, Patnaz and is approved by AICTE. Moreover, the program fee is 1.6 lakhs only which is too less and easily affordable for any group.Also, the top employers participate in placement drive and the on-campus placement rate is 80% with highest package of 7 LPA. And since, it is my hometown, I preferred to take admission without any confusion.

The MBA is a 2-year postgraduate program split into 4 semesters. The course curriculum of the MBA program covers the subjects that include organizational behaviour, principles of management, financial management, applied operations research, and other core and elective courses as well.In addition to this, summer internship program, industrial visit is the most important component of the course curriculum. The aim of designing the curriculum is to impart us with basic and additional knowledge of management through various ways like classroom lectures, presentations, workshops, seminars, group discussion, and many more. Also, the faculties of management department are helping in nature. They are always there to guide us and they don't believe in bookish knowledge only but also enhance our communication, leadership, negotiation, and managerial skills through trainings.

The top recruiters of LNMI are IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, TISCO, Reliance Communications, Bajaj Allianz, Axis Bank, Business Standard, IndusInd Bank, and others. Moreover, the placement cell of our college is too active and they provide assistance in getting us training and employment in the business world.And this is the reason that the placement rate of our college is 80%. Further, the highest package offered last year to the students of our senior batch was 7 LPA. On the other hand, the average package stood at 3 LPA. So, after I complete my MBA program, I will surely continue working in a good organisation.

The total fee of MBA program is 160000 which I paid on installments, So, in first installment, I paid 90 thousands and 35 thousands second and third installment respectively. In addition to this, 2000 is paid for obtaining degree along with the examination fee 2000/- per semester for those belonging to General category. Moreover, since I didn't get any scholarship, I don't have detailed information about the scholarship provision. However, at the time of counselling as well, I paid the counselling fee of INR 10000/- which is non-refundable.

Talking about the campus life, I must say that all the facilities are provided here like WiFi connectivity, 24/7 electricity, labs, library with huge collection of books, journals, research papers, magazines, volumes, and other study materials, canteens with varieties of food options, hostel, and others. However, a very few events are organized which include Fresher's day, farewell, important days and celebration of festivals, business management quizz, and others. In addition to this, annual day is something which everybody waits for as in this, music competition, dance competition, fashion show, and other activities are conducted which I like the most. Therefore, overall, the campus life at LNMI is good.
