Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, Its a great opportunity to study in University especially for those who dream of higher studies with a well reputed Foreign university. Every year there are HUNDREDS of people who pursue their doctorates from my University. The electives which they provide us in the curriculum are not always constant.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, My college directly does not provide internship but some companies which visited the university as a part of recruitment offered internships for students. Some of the companies are: Payoda, Amazon, Think and Learn, Wipro and many more companies.
Placement Experience
Placements with reference to the year 2016, I would it as the best University. I myself got into 4 companies. 3 software and 1 electrical core company. A total of 6062 offers were given in 4 companies which came on day sharing basis,They are CTS, TCS, Wipro, Infosys.
College Events
AARUUSH- Techno management fest. One of the best fests any one college or University would dream of. People all around would come and eagerly participate in the events conducted by different committees. Not less than 3000 people participate in AARUSH every year. MILAN- Cultural fest of our University which includes ultimate fun.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, Scholarships are definitely there. For people who are in top in that particular department or may be sometimes depending on a cut off GPA for that whole year, scholarship of upto 50% of the fee will be provided. There are some people for whom free education will be provided along with hostel facility.
Campus Life
Campus life is at its best, The aesthetic view of the campus will make you feel like you are at one of the best Universities in India. You can be proud in that case. Sports clubs are available where you can go cherish your talents.
Exam Structure
We can not tell its hectic. But ya, the exams are a bit frequent. The examination structure SRM has can be called one of the best. We have Cycle test 1 where the first 1 or 2 chapters would be covered. Then we have cycle test 2 in the next month where the next 2 chapters would be covered.
Admission
I attended the counselling where I got to choose my branch. It was a totally transparent process where the seat allocation would be done right in front of you. We need to submit a demand draft of the fee then and there to confirm the admission.
Faculty
I can not assure that everyone who is a faculty at SRM are the best. To my knowledge 70% of the faculty actually are passionate about the subject and thats the main reason why you get most out of what they teach. Its not always a smooth process of learning.
