I applied for MEASI, Meenakshi college of engineering, Rajalakshmi College of engineering, and crescent architecture school. The minimum percentage is 50% and we need to be qualified in nata for admission. We had 3 days of counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because l love creating new things and am capable of showing my ideas through sketches. Our faculties hold a B.Arch degree and a few M.Arch.We have our semesters every 3months and unit exams 3 times per semester and one model exam before the semester exam.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee ranges from 60,000 to 1,50,000 per year.We do spend alot when compared to other courses like for our sheets, stationery, models,laptops,etc. We take study loans for financial assistance .And the college does help with internship.

Campus Life

We have the annual fest which happens in the month of October. Cricket, the shuttle is the major sports activities. We have multi-purpose halls for workshops.AV rooms for theory classes.We have sports club,photography club,art club,etc

Placement Experience:

The placements in our campus for B Tech students in definitely top 5 in this country. Salaries averagin at 20 lpa has been the standard for the past few years. The placements for architecture are a little glim, but I guess that's the case everywhere

Architecture amidst serene greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.

ONE OF THE BEST CAMPUS AMONGST ALL NITs. NIT TRICHY.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.
