Remarks

Admission is allowed through CAP rounds. 100% transparency in the admission process. Admission is completely merit-based. There is no management quota. The college does not charge any donation or capitation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Students get enough time to prepare for the exams. Various assignments and projects are given to the students to develop their skills. The faculties here are highly qualified. Even during this pandemic they conducted online classes and quizzes and made sure that the students understood the concepts well using highly informative ppts and videos.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students apply for internships through INTERNSHALA. The college also arranges for internships for students in P&G, Bioriddl, Lubrizol etc after completion of Third Year B. Pharm. Students have to submit a report on the completion of the internship.

Placement Experience

The college invites recruiters from various companies and organizations every year to provide job opportunities to the students of the Final Year. The recruiters of the past are Abbott, CIPLA, Merck, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee charged is reasonable. It includes tuition and development fees. There are many scholarships granted by the government and various organizations like the Ratan Tata Trust for eligible students. Also, the college provides scholarships for EBC students. Vidyasarthi is the scholarship provided for economically backward girl students. Fees: B. Pharm- 1.5 lakhs approx

Campus Life

There is no type of ragging or eve teasing in the college. There is an anti-ragging committee and a Women Development Cell. There is a sports room with indoor games. The labs are very spacious with modern equipment and with all the safety measures. The campus has each and everything like canteen, library, stationery shop, computer lab, sports room, GCR, seminar halls, locker room, lift facility, etc. The college annual fest 'SPECTRUM' is celebrated every year in the month of February.

I love to study chemical reactions and also, it is a professional course so that's the reason I choose this course. The teachers are understanding but sometimes there gets some issues if the classes are not regular. Just attended 1st year due to the corona period so not sure about it. There is two sessional exams in a year and it is not at all though we can easily pass out it.

From 7 and 8th sem students are eligible. For campus placement. Cognizant package - 4-5 lakhs. Profiles - junior associate research, IQVIA - for centralized monitoring assistant. Synergen Bio Pvt. Ltd - Trainee research associate. Tata consultancy -Senior process associate. Hetero drugs Hyderabad -Junior research associate. Neuvocare -business executive 3 students get placed. Spring nature technology and publishing solution Pune - 2 students for junior scientists and medical writers. Ascentric research Pune - 1 student for clinical research. Package - 4 lakhs. Cipla - 2 students therapy manager/ Package - 6 lakhs. This year in the cognizant highest package is 7 lakhs. Almost all the MPharm students get placed in the best companies. The percentage is 70 -80 % are placed in nice pharmaceutical companies. My plans after my degree are I will clear the g-pat and I will do my master and then with completing PhD.

Negative - The fee of college is more so try to for minimum amount because poor people are not able to pay this amount. Positive - The best things are present in the college. The teachers are also good at teaching.

Remarks:

Overall college is best for knowledge as well as social work done through NSS or ABVP Campus is very nice and large in size. The college is good and would rate 8 out of 10. As I am admitted in direct second year B. Pharmacy this year itself, I didn't get much time to explore more about the campus and the college. But the college is overall good & having beautifully designed & maintained. It is located in the good scenic locality. Huge campus. Great faculty.

Colleges I had applied to were OCP, GIP, Sterling and VESCOP and many more through online mode and I was been alloted GIP on second merit list. Then my aunt who lives in Chembur asked me to apply to colleges offline too and her first priority was VESCOP as it is a very well reputed college with good placements. So I applied for the same. Luckily I got admission in that course through management quota. Minimum criteria for admission was HSC passed and MHCET cleared with a certain cutoff marks which was far lower than the online mode. Minimum MHCET marks when applying online were over 110 but on offline mode it got as low as 80. So I got eligible for the same. The admission process was simple. I had to provide all the original documents to the college and they had some papers and other formalities like payment of fees, etc. After alI that, I was given my admission form which was a assurity that I have been admitted to the college.
