Remarks

I Applied for MSIT, Janakpuri but could not get a seat there and my second preference was TIPS, Dwarka as it was hardly 15 minutes away from my place. You need minimum 50% marks in your 12th board which must include English &Maths.

The environment here is very good, the faculty members are so hardworking and cooperative. They solve our problems and queries very thoroughly. The systematic way of Online Teaching is very appreciable.

Internships Opportunities

Depends on the level and your skills there are several paid or unpaid internships which are being suggested by the college itself which help the students in enhancing themselves At such an initial stage. Projects like Graphic designing(at a small level) or poster designing are being provided.

Placement Experience

From the 4th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like WIPRO, TATA, HCL, IBM visit here for campus placements. Percentage of students fetting campus placements is 70-80%

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are justified when it comes to facilities and all the other services that are being provided to us with proper sanity. There is a huge computer lab. As I'm pursuing my second semester right now. I didn't get any Scholarship or Job right now

As we joined during COVID there was no Freshers' party due to govt. protocols There's very good availability of books in the library where you'll find all the books related to your course There are fully Air Conditioned classrooms There are only selective sports offered as there is no official playground on the campus There are some socities that are being run by college students for Dancing, Singing, Acting, etc.

A decent college experience with room for improvment

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and covers most of the imortant subjects needed for our feild.It provides a good foundation and helps in understanding the basics clearly. many topics are for real world application can also help in further studies.However the curriculum could be improved by adding more practical sessions real projects and updated industry oriented content. Some subjects feel a bit theoritical so more hands on learning would make cource stronger. The exam schedule is manageable with internal external and internal assessments held at regular intervals. The difficulty level of exam is modrate and we students can perform well with study.Overall curriculam is decent but can become more comprehensive with few updates.

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

Ethereal experience at TIPS

I applied for IITM in Janakpuri and Maharaja Agrasen I could get admission in these colleges but I chose TIPS because the crowd and IITM is not good and Maharaja Agrasen is very far away from my house so I ended up taking admission in TIPS as it is close to my house. I got rejection from Maharaja Surajmal as my rank in IPU CET exam was not up to the mark to join Maharaja Surajmal. the admission process of my college was smooth, I gave the IPUCET exam which is held by the Indraprastha University after the results we have to make a priority list for the colleges we want to take admissions in. I just had to submit the documents in the college and it was like 2-3 hours of process for verifying them and I got admission in TIPS...Read More
