Remarks

IFET College of Engineering, Mailam Engineering College, Arunai Engineering College are the colleges I have choosed and I didn't satisfied with another college except for IFET. I have availed through counselling so I got 20000. I got 153 marks cut off so that I got the seat in IFET College of Engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm very much interested in machines so I choosed this course. 700 students and 35 faculty are there in Mechanical Department. PhD completed faculty are taking classes. Unit wise exams will be conducted. It is moderate to pass.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies offered the internship for a period of 20 days and it varies according to the work or internships. The projects has been selected for best paper awards in the conference. Every year project Expo has been conducted.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, the student is eligible for campus placement. Sutherland, Infosys, TCS, SL Lumax, Wipro, Cisco, TVS, etc., companies visited. 7.2 LPA is the highest salary package. 83.5% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are normal and the hike policy is not there as said in counselling the fixed amount of fees is only paid. Scholarships are available based on quotas. Various companies are coming to campus interviews and thus more than 80% got placed.

Campus Life

Annual day, sports day, department culturals are conducted every year. More than 15000 books and 10000 E-books are available in the library. IFET also concentrate more on extracurricular activities like co-curricular activities.

Exploring SNSCT in my POV

Placement Experience:

For campus placements students of the 4th year or 7th semester are the eligible ones. Multiple companies like zoho,apple,TCS,CTS, accenture etc have come and multiple small companies too. But the intake for the big and reknown MNCs were low from abt 2-3 candidates only.the placement here is 100% but the companies may vary.My future goal is to go for a government official stream after I finish my masters abroad.

A place of growth

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year itself a student become eligible for campus placements and some of seniors got ino flipkart like companies. So the college is good at placement. In any colleges, due to college the student can't only be placed, their skills, talents, communication is more important to get placed so based their knowledge the students get placed. only thing college need to do is getting good companies with package and our college also provide it.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.
