IBS MUMBAI PGPM REVIEW

Applied for various colleges like NIIMS, Great lake but I find the ROI of IBS is good so I took admission in IBS Mumbai. I scored 80 percentile in CAT so I don't have to sit for the IBSAT exam. A counselor is provided to every student and he guided us through the admission process. The minimum age required is 18 years and one must have cleared the graduation exam and the final selection is done on the basis of GD and PI.

IBS is well known for its case study method of teaching which gives exposure to practical learning and one can easily relate it with the business industry. The teachers of IBS are well qualified and have industry experience, are always ready to help and support us. Exams are held in form of CECS which includes viva, presentation, class participation, semester exams.

An internship of 3 months is compulsory for each student which starts from the end of 2nd-semester exams. Companies like JPMC, DHL, XANADU, Aditya Birla, HDFC insurance, L&T, etc visit our college for job roles like sales, pre-sales, marketing, operations. Most of the companies provide a stipend at the end of the sip and each student has to work on a project during SIP.

Placement season starts from mid 3rd semester in the month of august and almost all the students get placed by end of January. Each year on average of 90% of students get placed with an average package of 6.5 lakh and the highest package given last year was 17 lakh. Companies from various sectors visit our college namely JPMC, ITC, HDFC, Nestle, Lodha, Kotak, etc.

The total fee of IBS is 8 lakh in which 80000 is to be paid at the time of admission and the rest amount is paid in 5 equal installments and financial aid is also provided to students if required, IBS offers merit scholarships to students in each semester on the basis of their performance in the exams.

The flagship event of IBS is Konflux which is held in the month of January in which different B-Schools participate, it's a huge event, and the whole event is organized by the clubs of IBS. The classroom is spacious and digitalized and fully AC. The library is well maintained and has ample books for the readers and a digital library is also provided to students. There are lots of events that took place on our campus throughout the year for the overall development of students and apart from the club IBS also has a disciple committee is manages the smooth functioning of all the events.
