IBS Dehradun Review

I gave IBSAT exam and cleared it. They gave free sessions for qualified candidates so that they can give their GDPI confidently. I availed those sessions, prepared myself, and gave my interview. I got 81.5% , I got the acceptance letter from IBS Dehradun first as it was my first preference, and later on got an acceptance letter from IBS Hyderabad. I selected IBS Dehradun because of my financial preferance.

The faculty is really good and helpful especially Sanjeev Sir and Raghvendra Sir. As far as I have come across all the teachers I saw got their Phd done. I love how teachers engage students and motivate them to work hard and smart even in online classes. The best part is you can ask about your doubts freely to them, they don't get offended or irritated like many other teachers.

You get your Summer Internships in reputed Companies but except that you also get additional internship opportunities from the college itself. They arrange several rounds of interview sessions and then offer 6 students this internship along with a stipend for 6 months.

This year i.e 2021 our seniors got an Average CTC of 5.62 and Highest CTC was 10.62 from our IBS Dehradun Campus . Top 10% student from our college got an Average CTC of 8.60 . 97% student got job via campus recruitment in 2021. Recruiters like Tata Steel, Deloitte, Times of India etc, offers job here.

I personally think fees of IBS Dehradun is value for money because it doesn't overcharge students for the quality of education they give. It's not highly expensive like most other B-Schools out there. The scholarship is provided but only for Domicile students at IBS Dehradun. Apart from Summer Internships they also provide additional internship to 6 students with stipend for 6 months. These 6 students get selected after several assessment sesssions.

The campus is amazing. It's located in such a beautiful and photogenic place. You can visit different places on the weekend with your friends. Different clubs are formed where students take part in different co-curricular activities, arrange webinars, etc.

We are doing online classes at present but will look for hostels and give my update regarding this once we get the approval for offline classes. But as far as I have seen from Alumni and seniors, hostels are located within walking distance from college and quite clean.

They asked few general questions first like Tell me about yourself, Why do you want to do an MBA? , What is your goal in life? , Why IBS? , What did you do during a lockdown? etc then they went into topics testing your knowledge. You also need to give a presentation in the interview session, they will judge you based on these tests plus your academic mark sheets .
