IBS (wholesome experience)

During my time, the application form was available. IBS bulletin was available at Rs 1500 or 1800. Also, you can apply online with a few details. IBSAT is a must and you can also qualify through CAT, MAT, NMAT etc. All applicants should have 15 years of education (10+2+3) or (10+2+4) basis. Candidates are further called to IBS, Hyderabad if they clear their exam.

IBS Mumbai only offers Post Graduation program or PGPM. Faculties are from a good institute and possess great skills especially communication skills which help the student be free with them. They are your mentors until you get placed. In one semester there is mid-term and the final term which makes it 2 per semester. So in total, you'll have to give 8 exams.

Companies like HDFC, Shapoorji, Fanatish, Aditya Birla, Jio Creative Labs, etc come for internships. Some even offer you a stipend and some offer you a stipend on basis of your work. The range of projects varies from finance to marketing to HR etc.

Students become eligible in the third semester itself, you're alloted to several groups which are mentored by faculties. There are practice PIs and GDs conducted, Number of companies can be 100 or more and good packages are offered, you got to make the most out of it.

IBS Mumbai offers financial facilities to economically weak students like loans at lowes rates possible. We were also allowed to pay in installments. An average of 6 lakhs is a must in IBS. Per annum its 4.05 lakhs which makes it 9 lakhs approx excluding hostels.

I was the Branding Head and also the head of the marketing club at IBS, Mumbai. It personally was valuable for me as I was given practical experience in handling corporate life. Similarly there are many clubs like finance club, HR, personality develpoment clubs. E=IBS makes sure you have many extra curicullar activies on your plate.

After getting selected for the exam I was called for the interview in Hyderabad. At first, we were made to understand the rules and regulations after which we were alloted timings. My GD was around 10 am in the morning, talking about the topics they were basic general knowledge and a bit about management. Make sure to speak 2/3 lines. After which you've PI where you are asked about internships, job experience and other domain questions. Depending on your score you get your campus at IBS.
