Remarks
Applied to IBS only and the admission process took place in IBS Hyderabad campus. A mentor was appointed for paperwork and solving query hence the process was smooth. IBS accepts CAT scores and the minimum age required is 20 years along with the graduation to apply and there was no upper age limit.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum are designed as per domain subjects which we have to choose in 3rd semester and in 1st year the subjects are common to each student. The faculties are very qualified and also have industry experience and the use case study method to teach and the faculty to student ratio is 1:20. Exam happens throughout the semester in form of video, presentation class participation.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are also provided to students from the college for the job roles like Pre-sales, sales, marketing, insurance, etc. Companies from various sectors come namely Lodha.DHL, Aditya Birla, HDFC, ITC, JPMC, etc and by the end of SIP we have to submit a project.
Placement Experience
Campus placement starts from the 3rd semester in which companies like JPMS, HDFC, ITC, DHL, Kotak, Lodha, EY, etc comes and hires students for different roles as per their requirements. The average salary is around 6.5 lakh and 90% of students got placed each year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee of the course is 810000 which is ti paid in instalments and financial aid is provided by the college at the beginning of the admission process and also gives instalment provision for payment of fees. A merit scholarship is also given to students on the basis of marks obtained in semester exams.
Campus Life
Konflux is the main fest of the college which took place in the month of January which has inter and Intra college events that are organized by the clubs of IBS Like the Kautilya-finance club, Markophilia for marketing, etc, A lot of extracurricular activities is also organized by these clubs for the students. College also has a library cafeteria, auditorium.
Interview Experience
GD topics were from current affairs, business news, etc and it took 15 minutes to complete them and it was monitored by a panel of 2 members, GD os followed by PI which is also taken by pane; of two members and it went till 10 min they basically ask general questions.
