IBS Mumbai Review

I applied for various other colleges but IBS had their process way early in March and I got selected so I thought of not giving interviews for different colleges. I scored 165 in NMAT so I did give IBSAT, exams like NMAT, IBSAT, CAT, MAT works and there are no restrictions of age or ender. The admission process was easy as the first step was to give an exam and if qualified you get to go to Hyderabad for your further rounds. From day 1 you're assigned to a councillor till the day you join the college.

IBS has a unique teaching method, not only theories but a case study learning approach is taken care of because of which students have practical knowledge as well. IBS is a college that not only focus on academics but also extracurricular activities. faculties are friendly and are from good backgrounds, Regular CECs, tests, seminars are held for personal development.

For internships, college gets good companies like Jio Creative Labs, JP Morgan, FGLI, SD Corp, Outlook groups etc. Various roles like marketing and sales analyst, research analyst, financial advisor etc are been given. For Marketing, Sales is the main task which 90% of the students have as their task.

Students become eligible after their 3rd semester for the placements. Companies visit from starting to give package from 4 lakhs to 10 lakhs. The average package offered is 5.6 lakhs. 99% of students get placed if they have that drive in them. JP Morgan, Nielsen, Morgan Stanley, HDFC, SD Corp, Shappoji Pallonji, LODHA come for placements being some of the top companies. After getting a degree mostly I would go for a job and would probably think of opening my startup as well.

In our time we had 8.2 lakhs but now for the 2022 batch, the fee has been increased to 9 lakhs maybe. Financial Assistance is provided they also understand if you've some serious financial issues. If one is dedicated he/she must crack the interview. Many companies visit and they start from August. Deloitte, HDFC, JP Morgan they are some examples.

KONFLUX and AAGMANare the 2 fests conducted. Aagman is to welcome the junior batch while Konflux is the flagship event of IBS, Mumbai. There are several books, journals, magazines, novels, autobiographies available in the library and it has a space to read as well. The best part about IBS is the clubs which are run by students and it is definitely something which gives you good exposure, and practical handling, patience, teamwork etc.
