Best guidance from college and faculties

Applied to Amity university but didn't go as the fee was very high compared to the average package provided. The minimum age required is 20 years and no maximum age limit and the student must be in the final year of graduation or completed it. IBS accepts CAT scores and also took the IBSAT exam. After clearing IBSAT and CAT cutoff every student has to go for the PI and GD round which took place in IBS Hyderabad.

I choose this course as it is updated and aligned with the corporate industry. The student-to-faculty ratio is 1:20 and most of the faculties have done their Ph.D. and have industry knowledge. IBS also hired visiting faculties to teach specialized subjects and these faculties are working in corporate and their knowledge and experience help a student a lot. The teachers used a practical method of teaching and the case study method is also used and lots of group activities are also conducted by the teachers. The exams occur frequently in a semester we have to take 4 secs, a mid-semester exam, and an end semester exam. These tests are moderately difficult to pass.

The placement cell assists the students to get placed in the companies and the placement process generally starts in the month of September in the 3rd semester and the students with a CGPA of 5.5 are eligible to sit for the placements. Companies like Lodha, ITC, Amul, Deloitte.JPMC, comes to our campus and the average package provided by them is 7 lakh and the highest package from our college was 20 lakh in 2020.

The total fee of IBS Mumbai is 8 lakh of which 80000 is to be paid at the time of admission thereafter 154000 as the first installment followed by 4 equal installments of 144000 also there is a gap of 3 months between each installment.IBS also provide bridge payment facilities when student faced difficulties in paying the whole installment at a time. The fee generally hikes after two years. The college provides merit scholarships to a student who got more than 8 cgpa in each semester and also a stipend to those who work for the library.

IBS has many clubs in which students can be a part it and these clubs organized lots of events, seminars, and competitions for the students. Some of the clubs are Markophilia, M360, Kautilya, Synergy, sales clubs these are domain clubs. The sports club is Tarkash, I-focus (photography), Bladdist (poetry), Soundsteert (singing), D-fusion (Dancing). Each club has its presence on social media platforms like Instagram, Linkedin in which they share posts regularly. The main fest of the IBS is Konflux which is organized in January in which different colleges participate in the events and competitions. IBS library has lots of books and business magazines and the classrooms have AC, Projectors, and comfortable bench and chairs.

The GD was conducted in IBS Hyderabad campus and in GD there was a panel of 2 members observing the students. The GD topics were generally related to business news, current affairs, economics news, abstract topic, etc. The topic given to me was "Corruption is a necessary evil".The PI round is compulsory for all which is taken just after the GD round which also has two member panels. I prepared 50 latest topics for GD from a different website and also commonly ask questions in an interview.
